Through the utilization of tablet technology and web-based design “Intasect” has addressed the shortfalls of current tyre management through replacing data capture by the tyre technician with auditable data confirmation and automated fault reporting.
- Intasect gives each tyre technician and operator a unique username and password.
This feature ensures accountability for all jobs, as tyre changes, surveys, tyre inflations and all other actions are time and date stamped to each individual user. - Individual’s job performance can now be measured and managed for any specified period.
- Technicians verify live tyre information on changes and vehicle surveys as apposed to the unreliable filling in of paper documents.
- The live automated reporting of incorrect tyres on a vehicle allows action to be taken before the vehicle leaves the depot
- On a tyre change, Intasect identifies the ideal tyre, currently in stock, to be fitted. The technician simply selects this tyre and the tyre off, tyre on, stock and cost allocations are completed without any further input by a data capture clerk.
- Any faults identified by a technician during routine tasks are sent to any pre-set contacts via automated e-mail on the task’s completion. These notifications then escalate if corrective action is not taken within a specified time.
